Got a late start in the fog this am with the wind starting to blow early. Had a few birds working the bank between Old Settlement and Pelican Point, and we picked up a few nice trout. Winds picked up a little more, so we headed into the marsh behind Grand. Got into the reds pretty good with a few trout and flounder in the mix. All in all a fun day in the marsh. Early trout caught on chartreuse Norton Sand Eels. Switched to saltwater crickets in the marsh. Don't hate.

Academy has them in Lake Charles.
Gulf Coast Supply in Cameron.
Any shrimp/crab supply place will have them also.
I have been having one for a clothes basket for 30 years.
Them things will never break.
