Two 9pts, two days.

Duck fever quickly switched to Buck fever... Had 3 awesome bucks shot, 2 recover in the past few days at Our land in ragley la ... Rut is in full swing, and they are dumb... Friday evening, my dad had a monster step out on him at 275 yds.. He shot low, hitting in the leg.. No blood, or bone.. Saturday eve, had a member kill another good 9pt killed, had to do a little tracking but found him.

This morning I get a text from my dad saying big buck down... Sure enough, his luck changed and got him a 9 pt. lot of mass on this deer

Now off to get me one...

I had a feeling that was where you were going to say. I used to live on Foreman Rd and leased the property on the corner of Gaytine, Foreman and Broussard. The yr I moved they sold it. That was some awesome land to hunt. I had permission yrs ago to hunt a strip of land out there that a guy named Steve if I remember correct owned. He was stuck out there on New Years Day and I was the only person to help him out. They had a huge buck that I hunted on my property but never got a chance to see it other than on my camera. I still think of that deer and how big it was.
