Would work well in the marsh and agriculture land but our landscape is much different than TX and then there is the whole black bear issue and when a shooter is in a helicopter he/she is just seeing objects run around and that one 'slip' when a bear comes running out the briar patch and gets shot..

But we do have fairly liberal laws for hog hunting, would like to see the WMAs open year round for this, but again all it would take is one or two slip ups and it would all be over. My in-laws have dogs for everything (foxes, squirrels, coons, deer, hogs, rabbits, etc.) and I love em to death, but they are not the most ethical folk, and I don't know if they should be given free range on a WMA at night with guns and silencers and night vision

I am serious

Of course, they are part of the problem and I tell them this every single time we hang out and will tell them again at Christmas dinner. What they do is catch hogs and place them out on their place and their buddies' place, and their buddies place etc. so they can have several populations to run their dogs. This has ceased now but it happens ALL the time up in N La
