I got his autograph when I was 10 years old! Didn't even know who the man was, my mom said that's George Jones a famous country singer! So I ran up to him with a pen and paper! Very nice guy! RIP

Yeah "He stopped loving her today" never meant as much to me as it does now. I think of my wife everytime i hear that song. I will love her til the day i die... I can rememeber going out to the camp and getting whiskey bent and hell bound on ole George, Hank Williams, David Allan Coe, and many more. Just some good old fashioned country boys singin their azzes off about stuff that actually used to mean something in the world.

Think I will have to kick one back tonight in honor of old "No Show" one last time. I have his greatest hits CD in my truck. You better believe it will be playin on my ride home today. Im glad I got to see him in Baton Rouge recently before he passed. We lost a Legend toady. R.I.P.

i very seldom listen to music anymore no good ole rock and roll or pure country stations . grew up with george hank marty mel all the ole guys from late 50s early 60s. bring it back would be ok
