Cheers Fast n Furious Morning 4-23-13

Capt Joel Wakeland and I made a quick run to catch some fresh trout for Chef Rickie Daigle. Fresh Trout Almondine on the menu for our customers coming into the Lodge this weekend. We left out of the Reel Inn Lodge at safe light to find the trout hungry and waiting for us. They were chasing shrimp all around the boat and were eating up our double rigged Avocado Matrix Shad like they were going out of style. We had a quick fast n furious bite for a good 45 minutes before the wind picked up and shut things down. the damage was done with a good mess of specks for our dinner this weekend, so we went look around to try and find some red fish. None to be found! We drifted through some pristine ponds which are usually full of reds, but zero to be found. Good times and a early return to the Lodge to clean up and get home. Thanks Capt Joel for the great company today.

Oh yea we'll get out there sometime. If anything we can catch reds in the marsh within a couple minutes from the camp. We'll be out there a few days staying in his other camp.

Its a Jus Grab It Glove, you can get them at Academy. $30.00 for belt, glove, and pliers. If you fish often its a must, Im lost without it.
