Where is a good launch to get to Sabine lake from LA?

Burnt out Bridge would probably be closest in LA. Vinton drainage ditch is next, then Ellenders. BOB is closest. Vinton drain ditch is a haul, Ellenders even longer.

BOB is where I launch. But, I only fish north end of the lake.

Thanks, I knew about the Vinton ditch and Ellenders but knew there had to be a better spot. B.O.B. looks like a winner.

Not sure where u coming from but launches in Orange much nicer, more secure and not much further drive

BOB is about a 10 mile boat ride.

When ever I go fishing or hunting.......I put everything behind the seats in my truck. I don't temp a thief with something he can easily see.

Lesson learned. The thief took $ 25 of stuff from my truck.

I'm coming from the Lafayette area, might be worth the drive to not have my truck broken into.....I HATE THEIVES!!

If you launch in Orange, make sure you follow Texas limit.

The water is common, you just need to have a Texas limit when you get back to the Texas dock.
