They have a pretty bad reputation. You can double check that on www.thehulltruth.com. They may have improved, but if so, I am not aware of it. That being said, the Carolina Skiff also has a reputation for lots of issues and bad customer support.

i have a 17 ft cc sundance w60hp on it good boat for fishing areas i fish i have had it about 10 yrs only thing about it its not a dry ride other than that ive got no complaints

Friend has one and I used to have a Carolina Skiff. They are good for what they are. Cheap fiberglass flats. They ride wet and rough and are not as durable as aluminum. I caught lots of fish out of mine......... While getting soaked and the crap beat out of me.

Have a Sundance FX 17 Skiff with 60 Yam, great boat, fish all over big lake in it, great for sight fishing behind weirs
