BISSO Marine does Dularge again!! Ed Beattie President of Five Star Expeditions, Worldwide Outfitters and his son Ryan was our special guest with BISSO Marine the past couple days. The guys made it into The Reel Inn Lodge Thursday and Chef Rickie Daigle has been cooking amazing meals for everyone!! With the worst conditions presented to us the past two days the pressure was on. We knew we had to produce for the guys, and we did!! Yesterday the rain quit at 12pm and we headed out after filling up on rabbit stew! It took us a couple stops but we found the trout hungry and had them coming over the gunnels one after another. The trout were in a frenzy after the bad weather passed and could not resist our Matrix Shad. Unfortunately the skies turned black on us and we had to run and leave the trout biting almost everycast. We woke up to the same horrible conditions today. The rain quit at 8am and the Bluewave was rolling. We found the bite slow this morning just picking away at the trout, reds and a few flounder. We made a move to catch some reds and the crew had reds and puppy drum coming in one after another on bait shrimp. After filling up the box half way we took off in search of more trout. It only took two stops and we had 2-3 pound Hogs flying over the gunnels!! We ended up with a mixed box of trout, reds, flounder, and puppy drum. What a trip!! Worst conditions possible and we still had over 100 fish hit the cleaning table. Mission accomplished. Good times as always with a great group of guys. Big thanks to Capt Chris Venable for helping me with the second boat. Capt Chris also smashed the fish and everyone had a incredible time. Looking forward to fishing with the guys again for the Houma Oilmans!! Thanks again.
