![]() I got into an area yesterday that had fish striking the surface and chasing bait but I could get them to bite. I saw several red including a couple that were in the 25-30 inch class. Again I couldn't buy a bite. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I have limited time I can devote to fishing the area I live more than a hour away and my work keeps me gone at least half the time so I shouldn't be hindering any of the regulars. Thanks for any help you can give. |

Browse the reports. Tons of info there.
When there is that much bait in the area, it cam be hard to get them to bite. Gulp is a good bait to have on especially for redfish. A Mirrolure Lil' John on a 1/8 Yellowmouth jighead is hard to beat right now. |

secondly get yourself a hook and line map as well. Give you the major locations in the lake.

Check out the thread I started a couple of weeks ago. Also, I second the Hook and Line map. It will show all the names of the places these guys will tell you.
