Default More on Vudu quality

Ok, been testing every darn thing we can. Bottom line is, you can't store Vudu Shrimp ANYWHERE NEAR other plastics. Even if the Vudu is in a separate tray and other plastics made from PVC are close it may harm it. Also no scents or Gulp juice. There's a link below to our site with a tip.

So far, my Vudu have been in 100 degrees in a zip lock bag and I've had no issues. I also have a separate small plano with Vudu only and have no problems. But just to see, I put a few Wedgetails in there and left it in the boat and the shrimp got gummy and sticky.

We sure welcome any solutions or comments to help everyone. Send them to me ken@egretbaits.com

what about storing different color Vudus with each other. Will the color fade between them? Pearl, natural, pink/green, rootbeer?

Are they safe near each other? I had mine next to a mirrolure when they shape shifted.

I have all my vudu in one tray (separate little boxes, 2 per cube) never had any kind of problem, and I leave em in my boat.

I would say yes because they come two per pack and seem to be fine.

I also have several in their original packs sitting on top of other plastics (gulp, skull draggerz, cacahoes) and have not had any problems. They are kept in hot garage and have stayed in hot truck for a few days too.

Lots of good info TOO LATE, just threw a dozen away, tentacles and legs melted off, the body itself was gooey, a waste of good money. Weak hooks and now this. Seems not much testing was done before putting them on the market. It still has potential, but for now, I am done with this (poor) quality lure attempt.

I've kept mine in my waterproof Plano boxes. All my Vudus are in the same big slot and I've never had a problem with them melting. Of course, I don't keep them in extremely hot areas, besides the garage. Only thing I had a complaint about was the hooks and that's being fixed. Thx Ken!

It is nice to see a company that can admit that something is wrong and work towards a solution rather than make excuses or worse just ignore the customer all together.

I agree; we have all witnessed what happens when a company ignores customers and then makes excuses instead of admitting there is a problem and offering a solution!!
Thumbs up to egret baits!!
