Stupid question but how do you fish for the bass at night? Same as you fish them during the day ie same baits and location or do you change it up

I was there last weekend. My friend and I fished humps on the south end and caught fish all night. They were actively feeding on shad but we were fishing for the big ones. We CR and TR creature baits and big worms. Our biggest fish was 5lbs. All n all we had a good time. Maybe next time we will get the double digit one.

Big Red, I fish a lot of tournaments at night on the Bend. What we have found is if you have found fish in a certain area, humps, ridges, grass lines etc, stay there. The fish move in and out. You make get there and caught a few and then the bite will stop. Then you may go a hour or longer without a bite. Then they move back in and start biting again. I hope this helps.

I like to add rattle weights to the baits... gives em that little extra. I have specific jigs with rattles as well i like to use at night. typical dark colors as discussed with traditional night baits. long worms, spinnerbaits, chatterbait, rattlin jig, buzzbait, CR rig with additional beads for sound. I like to fish structure near deeper water. grasslines are ok near deep water as well.

I like lighted boat docks near deep water. Every now and then you get a 4#er. But mostly just keepers. The big girls hang out on the humps and ledges.
