Default San Antonio

Hey fellas, I have a 2 day business expo that I will be attending in Sept over in Grape vine Tx. on the lake. My wife and son will be attending with me, so after, we plan on heading to San Antonio for a few days. We've never been, but Im sure we will hang around the river walk while we are there. Any places we should make sure we see while we are there?

San Antonio- Mission tour by trolley is cool if you like history, Mexican market has good food and its like goin to Mexico without hassle, Pioneer biscuit factory is not far from down town and has great breakfast and as said before Sea World is really nice plus theres a huge water park

There's several small towns outside of San Antonio to go walk around but with kids New Braunfels has the big water parks along with tubing several rivers and a small town called Gruene which has the Comal River to tube, small shops for your wife and The Old Gristmill which is great food and outside dinning with a river view.

We go every yr at least once for a week to the hill country and never run out of things to do and great places to eat... you can find some of the best BBQ out that away and make sure to stop at Bucees.

Stayed at several of the Gaylords. Everyone of them amaze me. They are huge and top of the line. You will get lost several times. They have apps for the Iphone to help you figure out where you are.

If you want to hang around Grapevine a lil longer & keep the kids busy check out the Great Wolf Lodge. Indoor water park is pretty cool.

Just have one teenage son, but he does love the water. Looks like they have a lil waterpark/pool at the Gaylord too.

Went for our anniversary back in May and had a good time. The Guadalupe River was fun if its not too low right now

As we were driving up to the river there was a little park and a golf course right next to a water park and the deer were everywhere on that course, you could almost hand feed them it appeared. Worth checking out if anyone knows where in the heck I am talking about
