Ok, Last couple of times going fishing there was fish looks like a needle nose gar but big around like a pencil. Runs on top of water with ya bait. What is that thing? Usually hangs around the lady fish. Dad was asking me if I could find out what it was. I said a pain in the ~~~~.

They r called needle fish they mess with your bait

mess with ya bait is an understatement. they was thick where i fished if the live shrimp could get past them and the lady fish we would usually catch something.

If you manage to land one of those foul smelling creatures cut it in 1 inch chunks and its like redfish candy!
