Default Old school swim bait

My neighbors who is 70+ years old gave me this bait. A big lake guide gave it to him years ago when he had a camp. Mainly used for trout.

Has anyone seen this bait before? The plastic fins by the eyes can be turned up r down. It makes the bait dive, splash, swim up. Etc.

It's not that old...I think DOA made that about 15 years ago but I forget what it's called

I first saw that bait on Terry Shaunessy's (sp) TV show he had years ago on the Lake Charles open channel. It's and old DOA i think but don' t remember the name. Prabably 15 years ago I saw it.

I remember those!!! I also remember they didn't produce great results for me.I could not build any confidence in the lure so it quickly faded out of my tackle box.

DOA mullet. pretty sure I've a few in the many boxes of baits in old bait collections. Worked pretty well. Redfish crushed it.

I still think they sell the DOA mullet. The one in question has winged eyes that could be turned to make it wake or "pop" or turned to make it dive.
