Yes chicken on a chain h&h bull minnow. Bounced off bottom with slow steady retrieve. Had a couple blow ups on top water but no hook ups.

I saw the pic on FB,nasty looking thorn he had stuck in his leg. Nice catch I went out of intracoastal sunday and it was tough. Scratched out 4 reds and 2 flounder. Loaded up on half a bucket of some big shrimp though.

Did you go to the old game warrant camp to cast net? We went to marsh island and cast net but didn't get nothing in the AM, went back in the afternoon and the caught a few bait shrimp.

I've been hearing of limits but I'm yet to catch more than 12. Most trips been 7-8. I've been making early morning and late evening trips but if weather permits Saturday I'm pulling an all day event!

They seem to be in 5-6 foot of water about 2-3 foot. Gotta find where bait fish are and they'll be around. But yesterday they wanted it bounced high off bottom but steady retrieve.

I need to start playing with those artificial bait, seem like you will have a better chance of catching them then dead shrimp.
