Default Lake Martin or Spanish Lake reports lately?

Has anyone heard of any fishing reports in Lake Martin of Spanish Lake lately? I have 2 weeks left before I come back home. I am getting ready to get into some bream or what ever wants to bite. Thanks!

No such thing as Spanish Lake anymore. Other than its got water in it.

No reports of Lake Martin in a while. Most people are tight lipped about it anyway because its so small a lake. You can always catch a few in Henderson for sure.

Don't waste your time at spanish lake that's for sure...it's been dead for the last 5 or more years.

We used to kill good bit of ducks there when I was young. Been a long time since I fished there. When it was good them sacs were huge

They always put lots of fish being caught in Spanish Lake in the local news paper. However every time I go there no is catching or caught anything. I think they put that in the paper just to get people to go pay the $3.00 entry fee. Don't even go to Spanish for a romantic picture.

Default Lake Martin or Spanish Lake reports lately?

Last year I put in at Spanish lake. Couldn't even make it to the lake. The channel out is silted in so bad. Had to push pole back in. Rode around there the other day and they had about 50 Mexicans fishing at various places all around the bank.

One thing I did like was the major Lilly pad flat in the back. Maybe run a frog on there early in the am from the bank.
