Took 2 deck hands out this morning to have some fun with the trout. We wanted to get back for the saints game so there was no limit goal to reach. It would have been nice to get a limit but it took them a while to get into the program. When we had 22 in the boat one of the guys put 2 in and the other had 3. The other 17 I put in. The only reason he had 2 fish in the bod is because he had a double on a tandem rig. Parker even asked me if I do this to my customers also. It was almost a joke. The bite was slow but steady enough to keep us there. When it was time to head in for lunch and some football we had 66 in the box. We were not netting and just swimming them in the boat.

On the way in we drifted past a sandbar and attempted to get a flounder or two. We picked up 2 of them and headed in. They took their share and I made my neighbors very happy by distributing trout fillets to many of them that do not fish.

Nothing till next Friday but am sure I will be out scouting some other areas if I get caught up with a few things.

Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that.

Always been a Miami fan. Just can't get away from the fish. Saints have won my heart but still Miami # 1.

Was a Miami fan since they first got into the league. Even my lobster trap bouys were aqua and orange. I am that old!
