FlagUS Texas Offshore Safaris - Red Tuna Shirt Club's November shirt!

Red Tuna Shirt Club is proud to announce our November shirt - Texas Offshore Safaris from Surfside, Texas!

This one-of-a-kind shirt has been sent to all Red Tuna members - let us know how you like it.

If you haven't joined yet, do so this week and we will send you this authentic Texas Offshore Safaris shirt right away as your first shirt (while supplies last!). Just visit redtunashirtclub.com.

The GOM has over two hundred species of game fish, nineteen species of whales, nine species of dolphins and five of the world’s seven sea turtle species. Captain Bill Bahr and Texas Offshore Safaris can help you enjoy this incredible natural resource with custom tailored near-shore and blue water fishing trips.

Captain Bahr wants his clients to learn and experience as much as possible while on the water. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of boating, fishing and the GOM which means you’ll get to drive the boat, learn how to navigate and use a sounder and get hands-on experience with the different rigging and fishing tactics you’ll be using. On a single trip you’ll likely experience deep-drop bottom fishing, chumming, jigging, free-lining baits, sight-casting and trolling; and, you’ll tap into many of the GOM’s diverse fishing opportunities - offshore platforms, bottom structure, wrecks, weed lines, rips and artificial reefs.

Summer and fall are Captain Bahr’s favorite months for both near shore and bluewater species. Those wanting to fish within sight of land can expect to land bull reds, black-tip sharks and Spanish mackerel. Early June kicks off the red snapper season in federal waters and it’s not unusual to land a limit of “sow” snapper in the 20 lb range. Bluewater trips can produce king mackerel, cobia, mahi, grouper, amberjack and wahoo. Trips in August and September provide fishermen the additional option of fishing behind culling shrimp boats, when fishermen can sight cast to an amazing variety including kings, ling, blackfin tuna, bonita and sharks as they respond to “the dinner bell”.

Getting to the GOM and Texas Offshore Safaris is as easy as flying into Houston and making the short drive south to Gulf Coast Marina in Surfside. Visit http://texasoffshoresafaris.com/ to learn more about how you can book your own offshore adventure!
