Default 3/29 & 3/30 in the wind

Took dad and one of my sisters out this weekend. Fished Turners Saturday morning till the wind blew us away. Sister managed to pick up a keeper red on gulp and dad got a little sheephead on a rat-l-trap.

Decided we'd hit up the river that afternoon because we figured we'd be able to hide from the wind better. Didnt get a bite and one guy have us the only fish he had which was about a 2 1/2 pound bass. No pictures.

This morning we started back in Turners and caught two rat reds on rat-l-traps.

Wind picked up and apparently trolling motor didn't get much charge last night so we left there. Started chunking rat-l-traps at the rocks and dad picked up another nice keeper red.

Started of the weekend with 6 rat-l-traps and now down to just 2. lol Was a fun weekend regardless though. Some guys at the cleaning station at the point gave us another redfish so we ended up with three reds, a bass, and a sheephead. I'm not complaining.

Could very well be. With the stripes I just assumed sheephead. But come to think of it. It didn't have the teeth. So probably black drum.
