Magnificent Day Catching 5-26-14

Joshua & Mike Gillen, Justin Guidry. And Nathan Cormier were back with me today. Always a pleasure fishing with these guys. We got off to a great start with the guys slinging in trout on live shrimp under a cork. We repositioned when the bite slowed and started catching on double rigged Matrix Shad. The bite was slower than I liked so we made a move. Our next stop had the trout coming in all on Matrix Shad, even a sea turtle could not resist the Matrix!! We released the turtle unharmed. Our next stop had the trout coming in on shrimp under a cork again. We made a move to a reef and the guys got to experience a 'red tide'!! Everyone in the boat hooked into a bullred!! Then it happened, two Cobia appeared in the school and on our Matrix Shad Lemon Head. One broke off but we got the other in the boat!! Our final stop had the trout coming in almost every cast again!! Good times as always with these guys, and I look forward to our next trip. Shrimp Creole, Lemon Head, and Green Hornet Matrix were the top colors today. Thanks again guys for a exceptional day.
