I keep a little bottle of bleach in my boat and one in my fishing bag.
If you have a sore or cut that starts hurting, quick treatment might keep you out of the hospital. |

You should treat any scrape, cut , scratch or puncture wound w/ bleach anytime you are fishing saltwater even if you are in a boat. Do not wait till it tells you to .Do it immediately.

If we get a cut, scrape, hook poke, etc it gets a dose of peroxide immedietly. Followed by a good scrubbing with dial soap. Even if not for vibrio worries. A hardhead or gafftop poke can be sore as hell the next day if not cleaned when it happened. Even then It can still be sore as hell.
