Default Vbay 11-9

One red, two specks, six channel and blue cats, two drum.
Started in the cove and weeks bay with nothing. Ran to the mouth of the avery, caught everything but specs. Finished off in shark bayou with the specks and and a catfish. Descent day out of the house.

Sounds like you were probably using live bait. We fished artificial, and you did better than us. Two of us fishing, we hit the usual spots around Cypremort... nothing. Ran out to the pass and hit Caldwell. The birds were pecking more than I've ever seen and the water was smooth (and not that dirty). Not a single fish. Hit T Butte and picked up one nice speck. Hit the trash pile on the way back. Pulled in one more nice speck and two whites. Beautiful day, but pretty much nothing doing on the fish.

I tried artificial at first and got nothing. So i switched and caught everything on dead shrimp. Under a pop-cork and on the bottom.
