I will be posting pictures from my hunting season soon, but fishing is on my mind. Next month I have two separate high school tournaments on the river (one being state qualifier) and I have never fished the river during pre spawn. Can anyone help me?

I never fished there, so location I couldn't help, but if the water is dirty. I'd fish shallow and around grass/lilies or tight to the trees assuming there are trees.

Water was super low Sunday , took a couple hours to find 1 ...little....bass. Water was moving fast and muddy. Hopefully it'll clear up soon. Fished south from Anthony Ferry.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1421808267.472638.jpg

went today 1st time this year but with warm weather fish should be getting shallow to get warm. had around 12 hits landed 2 bass and a pic water was not as bad in the bays had a good time will be on it alot the next couple months

do yall catch fish flipping around feb? I planned on pitching/flipping, maybe throwing a spinnerbait or square bill to structure

Calcasieu was looking bad a month ago, started back on Sabine till it went sour from all the rains and North winds ... Hit Houston river and caught a couple of small bass and a pique, we have had 4" of rain since that trip .

More rain tomorrow scheduled and close to freezing temps Friday, not sure where I will go try Saturday ??? Henderson and Toledo are sounding pretty good

lol, ive got a couple tourneys I have to do in Feb on the river but come March 15 you wont be able to keep me out the marsh
