Default Verizon or AT&T on BL?

About to upgrade my piece of **** i phone 5 that is currently with Verizon. Was down fishing BL two weeks ago and the service seemed much better. Is AT&T still the way to go or has Verizon increased their coverage of that area???

I'm with Verizon right now and would like to stay with them if their coverage is better. Last year down on Hollybeach I had no service.

FYI you do understand that your "POS" iphone 5 isn't the problem, right?

well my iPhone 5 is the problem. Def something wrong with it. Buddy sitting nxt to me at the camp was using his Galaxy surfing the Internet while my iPhone had no service. It's old and about to crap out. Gets hot while the charger is plugged in and locks up a bunch. Just want to make sure that I'll have good coverage on the lake if I stick with Verizon.

Verizon has awesome coverage just about everywhere. I can go in to metal buildings around lafayette and make calls where att customers cant. I only have issues around Cypermort point. Service is good if im in cove or TP or in middle of bay. Service is spotty around camps and on outside reefs. Att has a tower at the point and im not sure how close the verizon tower is. Verzion has the largest network in the country. My service has always been good on Big Lake

Yep, it's updated. It's to the point that the phone is getting hot while it charges. I'm going to upgraded just wanted to make sure Verizon was good for BL before I sign another 2 years with them.
