HA! i used to have one of those. I used it to find the thermocline before you could see it on finders. the color also worked well too. took a bit of the guesswork out of it.

I am using my fishing lure selector to type this. I use it in conection with the selection process of enie menie mynie ........

pretty much its a light sensitivity meter that just measures water clarity to pick the best colors for maximum visibility where you are fishing, plus it gives water temps.

I had one of those also. Worked well for me on the Calcasieu, West Fork, and English Bayou. I think that I threw it away; wish I would have kept it for my "antique tackle" collection. I could have put it next to my "Humminbird" depth finder, Pfluger trolling motor, and my Umco "Possum Belly" tackle box equipped with "Little Bend" worms, "Hulla Poppers", and "River Runts".
