Default Houston River 4/6/15

Took the kayak out to Anthony Ferry this morning. Caught about 15, nothing bigger than 10 inches. Really nice calm morning out there, still a little muddy. Flukes, speed craws, and trick worms.

Best looking water we have right now ... Fished yesterday for a bit in the drizzle and only caught pickles as well .

I figured it was the best water. I've been driving over the main river and I was staying as far away from that as I could.

Houston river seems to stay "good" longer than the others, I fished Westfork up by Parkside the other day and it was ok. Holbrook is another good option but the weather was holding right close so I didn't make the run ...
