![]() Sweet w/ a spicy finish . Should be great on fish tacos or grilled red fish. Here's the recipe for firecracker sauce . some places serve it as bang bang sauce or rocket sauce. 1/2 cup mayo. 3 Tbsp sweet chilli sauce 1 Tbsp sirrahcha. 1 tsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp Worcestershire mix all ingredients well cover and refrigerate at least 2 hrs . over night is better. I add a 1/4 tsp of cayenne and a 1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes as we like it a bit spicer. When it's right it should be sweet on the tongue and have a little bite in the back of your throat. |

Thanks.... I love that fire cracker sauce. I'm grilling some lemon fish and shrimp tonight, and this will fit perfectly.

Sweet chilli sauce? Never heard of it but it sounds interesting. Specialty item or can be found at the grocery store?

It's found in the asian section of most grocery stores In a pinch you can buy a bottle of sweet and sour sauce and add 2 tbsp ( or more ) of red pepper flakes.
But if you make it w/ the sweet and sour that needs to sit for a few days in the fridge for the pepper to infuse. I think i got a bottle at wal mart . Mae ploy is the brand i have |
