Default V Bat 7-25

Headed out late morning to catch the falling tide on the hottest day of the year so far. Brilliant idea...

fished west oyster bayou looking for reds. there was a ton of bait so we loaded the baitwell with just a few throws of the cast net.

Ended up a mound point catching sharks. Them sharks things were thick in the canal. we caught sharks, gaftop, stingrays, and a bull red and black drum.

After the fun we headed to bayou blanc and worked our way up to the worm. Didnt find much in the canal. the worm had a bunch of boats stacked up in one spot. a bubby of mine was in the middle of all that and said they were picking away at reds.

we fished spinnerbatis on the outside of the canal and was able to catch a few for the box and headed out.

Long hot day.

That Black drum didn't know he was hooked for the first few minutes. It was like fighting a cinder block. He just went about his day. Things changed when he saw the boat though.

The red was a different story. when my buddy set the hook he headed for Mexico!

Man we got into the sharks as well. Never in my life seen a black tip circle and eat a cork.
