Default Whats with bridge at freds lounge?

Noticed over the last couple months that they are doing work on the little bridge by freds lounge. Anyone know what they are doing? Making it flow through or something?

That water way was block off a few years ago to stop the water flow coming from the ICWW. Now they have removed the dirt to allow water flow. The job is almost complete.

I heard that this work has something to do with an oil well drilling operation in the area....but not sure if this is correct.

Brackish.

Several years ago, my neighbor was helping build a new camp near there. During lunch break, he went by the bridge several times and caught nice size trout off the bank.
