Default La. Dept. of Wildlife & Fisheries ending magazine

The spring issue of "Louisiana Conservationist," the magazine published by Louisiana's Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, will be the last.

I will sure miss it. I have been reading that magazine for probably 30 yrs. This was the first outdoor magazine that really taught me the outdoors from an outdoorsman and conservationist view....This sucks...

My parents got it for years........don't remember seeing it at there house in a long long time.

I was reading last night about the mag. and other cut backs the LDWF will be making on there web site. We won't be seeing as many GREEN gamewarden truck in the future.......watch out, they will be in there personal trucks.

Same here Bluechip. I haven't gotten it since I moved across the Sabine, but I have fond memories of reading it at my old camp.

LDWF is just too under-funded. This is prob a no brainer cut.
