Default They are what you pay for

I had the match pair one spinning and the other bait casting. I returned the spinning due reel foot tentioner was on the handle end of rod and not on the front of the rod. Every time I 'd be fighting a good fish I'd end up loosening reel on rod while fighting fish. Wrote a letter to customer service dept. and explained my point of veiw of manufacture's defect.they in turn said they would look into it. Oh yes they refunded in full with a little care package. I enjoy the bait caster very well balanced with an E 7 on the business end .

Looks like one of my older Shimano rods will be broken very soon.

dadgum thats nuts. I bought a cumara a few years ago, and while it was a nice rod I just couldnt keep it. the diameter of the rod at the end was too little. it broke on me too easily. for that kinda cheddar it had to at least hold up for more than 2 trips. I brought it back and went with the skeleton and no problems and a lil beefier tip.
