can anyone tell me what these lil suckers are? they showed up on everybodies houses on my road this week

Fool, It looks like a female Dobson Fly or Fishfly. See this website for basic info. http://www.insectidentification.org/...cation=Fishfly Looks like good bait to me. Small perch hook and freeline it on top.
