fluid film is the best protection against corrosion but id never put in my reels. we spray all our equipment with it and i spray all my atvs, lawnmowers , and anything else that plays in the elements. the reason i wouldnt use it on my reels is about after 8 hours it dries to like a tacky film which cant be good for small bearings. try some quantum hot sauce on your reels youll be more satisfied with it.
