Got an invite for last day of the season. Killed a 3 man limit by 7. Got my dog back out for a warm up. She has been locked up for the past 2 months for heart worm treatment. She was rusty and out of shape but she did about what I expected, especially considering she is a field dog and not a marsh dog. Birds were thick lightin the pond on their own and shut down completly after we killed our limit. We had some awesome shows by some big ol green heads, killed be not being able to shoot. All in all was a great day and awesome to end with a bang. We even got to put our little friend Alex on some birds! I think this will hold me over for the next few weeks until the season opens back up! Pics on next post.....
