Default 9.20.11 Whacked 'Em

I took two gentlemen from Houston this morning and showed them a few trout on Big Lake. Pulled up to the first stop this morning and that's all it took. We finished our 45 trout pretty quickly and played catch and release until they were worn out and wanted to go in. Beautiful water and a light north wind made for a cool, action filled day on the lake. Didn't see many boats out today so it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Only fished 2 spots today on opposite ends of the lake and could have easily filled a limit on both spots. The water was GREAT everywhere. It's pretty fun out there right now....there are a lot of fish to be caught. Caught all our fish on pretty much everything today....topwater, sand eels, sparkle beetles, anything plastic....color didn't matter too much either. We used glow, pink, chicken on a chain, LSU, opening night - they ate all of them. I tried to get my guys to stick around and take a nice picture that they could bring back with them to Texas, but they were worn out so I just snapped a quick box shot with my phone. I hope everyone is having fun hunting
