How for out do you have to wade when fishing the beach ?

Depends on how the water looks. if water is green and calm then fish will be near the beach. if it is rough may have to wade out past the breaking waves and get to some calmer water. If it is windy best bet would be behind the rocks. Just use caution while wading. Lots of sharp rocks, shells, crabs, sharks, and hurricane debris in the water. Use old shoes or some swim shoes.

Where is maes beach? Is there a sign? Hunted Johnson bayou a lot and don't recall seein it.

Pass up old youngs grocery take rd on left bout mile after youngs go left down beach till u get even w first camp good sandbar right there sometimes in 1st trough sometimes 2nd if u see mullet they there tw till 8 then plastic

Better have 4 wheel drive to get on beach, seen trucks stuck in sand every trip i have made so far. Sand is very loose and deep where you get onto the beach.
