Default anyone ever change out a fuel sending unit on F150?
my fuel gauge is not working..i have a 04 f150 and the dealer wants to charge me $495 to change it out...part is around $100...figure to save a few bucks if i do it myself...anyone ever do this? any tips? suggestions?

Most DIY car repairs have a video on you tube with step by step instructions. Anytime me or my dad need to change something out we just you tube it, watch the "how to" video and then go do it. Thats my suggestion.

i've got a guy in sulphur who works on vehicles and he is real, realy cheap. good and fast too. let me know via PM if you want to go that far?
