Id say get a second camera so you can switch from the gun point of view to a field view

I dig the slow-mo. I actually had a few extra rigging parts and got my sportsman mount to look down the top side of the barrel. Its looks pretty cool to see the sights also. The only problem I have is the camera moving.

Add some B roll footage. Maybe use the head strap mount while setting up decoys, driving the boat, etc. Maybe place a mount in the blind and sacrifice a couple of kill shots to get footage of calling and what not. Or you can stay with the sportsman mount while hunting, and stage a lot of the B roll stuff (calling, dog picking up birds, talking, really anything but the birds dying). When I had only 1 cam I would bring 2 SD cards. One for kill shots while hunting, the other for the boat ride/set up. As far as adding music, I would pick a song first and the add clips accordingly, instead of just having a random song playing the whole time throughout the video. Another good practice is after every time you shoot push your button to end that clip. It makes it a lot easier to find your kill shots while editing if you know all the shots come at the end of a clip.
