Default Fuel system blues

Ok so the boat has been sitting for a few months. I drug it out and hooked up the hose and started it but had fuel hose trouble the hose was leaking by the tank and sucking air. Off to the boat place where I bought a yamaha blue hose for 80$ it was complete and I sprung for extra for a good hose with a long guarantee instead of the fallapart walmart version. Also bought a thick plastic tank with a guarantee for another 80 $ it was heavy duty and thick. Brought that home took my brass connection off the old tank put it on the new tank put 3 gals of gas in it and fired the motor up and ran like a clock no ethanol gas and sea foam I unhooked the hose from the tank and went to bed happy.

This morning I woke to find the brass conection spewing gas in the morning sun and the 3 gallons of gas had run into the boat and out the back to the grass. Dang good thing I don't smoke and we are preying the gas soaked in before it got to the tree by the boat. It seems the needle valve on the conection dont work anymore so when I disconected the hose and the tank pressured up it syphoed the gas out. So now almost 200 $ later its back to the store for a conection.AAAAARRRRRGG!!!!!!
