Default A fishing report: Prien Lake area 4/9/16

This is a fishing report:
Launched at prien lake park around 10am to run the boat for first time since October and do a little fishing, with low expectations. Tossed cast net around 210 bridge, no bait to be caught.
Hit some spots north of casinos with nada. Water looked liked the red river (see picture). Wind didn't help matters. Couldn't see six inches into water.
Ran down south of prien lake a ways, and hit some spots on the ship channel. Water looked slightly better, and moving between 1-2pm pretty strong.
Caught a handful of flounder right against bank and was thankful for em.
Outta there around 3 with enough for dinner.
Overcast with SE winds, dirty water, and possibly overall ignorance made for some pretty slow fishing but at least we didn't come back with clean ice.
This has been a fishing report.
