Well hit the lake Saturday morning with a buddy to find some pretty water, but not much tide. Picked up one nice trout under some birds, but nothing after that for awhile. So i bounced around and decided to head south to the Jetties. It wasn't fast or furious but we pulled some nice reds, black drums, and sheepheads off the rocks. The tide shifted and the water muddied up a bit and the bite died. We decided to take a break and headed back to the launch. We saw several sets of birds working on the way back and pulled a few nice trout out, but most were pickles.

That evening we found more birds working and shrimp jumping and trout busting the surface. Worked the same group of birds for 1.5 hours..pulled 10 nice trout out....they werent really excited about vudu shrimps under popping corks but we still managed to land some.

Finally got to see the dang pink dolphin btw!
