6/23 Big Lake

Fished all day today. Went deep in the marsh around salt ditch and black lake, joes cove, kelso, ship channel cuts. Three everything. Caught one flounder jigging a gulp in the marsh this morning.

Fished calc point the afternoon, tried all around LNG sides of channel, anchored on a point right before dark and caught 3 flounder and a red on gulp and popper.

We threw shrimp, pogie, croaker, and arty today. Only fish besides croaker were on gulp.

Thanks for posting. Nice to hear what's going on before you make a wasted trip. A very crazy year.

Just made a trip to Venice last week and the Trout bite has been very slow there as well. Lot's of Redfish but no Trout.

Can't figure it out???????

20+ SW wind, lots of fresh water.
