Nice looking boat. I'd say $2500 would be a good deal for that boat if the motor runs good and everything is in servicable condition. Make sure he has all the papers for the boat and trailer. I've had a few of the OMC 25's through the years and they were good motors for me. Check the tires and bearings.

He has all the papers its a 1 owner boat. He is just iffy about the motor being that it sat hadnt ran it in a while.
So I think he is going to hook a brother up with a sweet deal, Being that we went to school together!

if it's just been sitting for a year and nothing else is wrong with the motor.

it is gonna need a carb cleaning / rebuild (doable yourself, prob 2 bills if you have a pro do it)

and I would change out the impeller, gear oil, and plugs while doing the maint.

Do what ace archer said and that motor should be good to go, now that floor could be a problem. A lot of people use treated exterior plywood for a floor but don't realize what the chemicals will do to the hull. There could be issues with tiny pinholes in the boat but you should be good if it doesn't leak. I would address the motor then the floor and you should have a nice lil boat!
