Default Black Drums

I went push my skimmers yesterday in Vermilion Bay.. Caught these two Black Drums at the same time in the same net.. Thought i might share..

Cat, that's cool and all that you caught them but I don't think you supposed to keep any fish caught in a commercial net. I'm not saying I never did it, but I never put it out there. I have eaten them things before, they not the best but they aint the worst either.

I thought it was just game fish i couldnt keep.. like bass, sac-a-lait, speck, and redfish.... I might be wrong tho.. ill have to look into that. Thanks for giving me a heads up..

Check it out, I'm pretty certain Black drum is considered a game fish as well as flounder.

I don't get what the big deal is...Cat didn't you say you caught them on your "Long Pole"?

Had a Great Uncle that used to catch Buffalo when we'd go to Toledo Bend and he'd always say that he caught them on his "Long Pole" I was probably 15 or so when I found out that he was running gill nets!

LOL... I dont know if that would work with a State or Fed warden.... I think its the whole "commercial Boat" thing....
