met him once at a CCA banquet, seemed like an awesome guy living the dream, do you know what happened? medical or some sort of accident?

It was medical, massive heart attack. Hell of a guy and fisherman, will be greatly missed.

I saw him fishing almost every weekend last summer in his Duce rods red ranger. I only got the chance to speak to him once after a tournament at the Point and he seemed like a well liked and very nice guy. I heard he had just retired from the post office and he was working on starting a guide service. I'm sure he'll be missed. My prayers go out to his family.
