Its a ms word document. If your phone doesn't have the ability to view ms word docs you will need to open and view on a computer.

SABINE TROUT SHOOTOUT FOR 2014 (page 1 of 2)

1. All State and Federal rules and regulations will apply. Violations will result is disqualification of the team.
2. Safe boating shall be observed at all times.
3. Sponsors and organizers are not responsible for accident or injury, nor loss, damage, or theft to any property
4. Tournament organizers will not be liable or responsible for any accident or injury, nor loss, damage, or theft to any person or personal effects.
5. A maximum of 2 anglers per team. People choosing to fish alone will fish as his or her own team.
6. If a team wishes to fish from kayaks they must stay within 200 yards of each other.
7. Tournaments will be a 3 Trout Stringer, 1 trout over 25” and the other 2 between 15”-25”.
8. Fish are not required to be alive but a ½ lb. bonus per live fish will be given.
9. Ties in a tournament will be combined and spilt between two places for tournament and side pot winners.
10. Tournament Payouts are: 3 positions for 1 to 19 entries, 4 positions for 20 to 24 entries, 5 positions for 25 to 29, 6 positions for 30 to 34 entries, 7 positions for 35 to 39 and 8 positions for 40 to 50 entries. 100% of all entry fees will be paid back
11. Launch / Fishing start time will start at 6 am for each tournament unless noted otherwise at pre-tournament’s captain meeting.
12. In case of severe weather, the event will be rescheduled, if for any reason event cannot be held all entry fees will be refunded
13. Check-It Stick will be the official measuring board at weigh ins.
14. Artificial Lures Only may be used in the tournament. No tipping of hooks with live or dead bait, chumming or any other methods to attract fish.
15. Wade fishing will be permitted but teams must stay within 100 yards from their other team member.
16. All tournament boats are expected to maintain a respectable distance between all boaters and wade fisherman. Tournament boats shall maintain 100 yards apart unless invited closer by other Tournament Team. If a tournament boat is waved in, that gives any tournament boat permission to come in.
17. Trailering of boat will be allowed.
18. Random boat checks will be performed the morning of the tournament... (No cast nets in boat)
19. No bank fishermen will be allowed.
20. Participants may fish anywhere they choose as long as it is legal and in public water.
21. All fish must be caught on rod and reel with only 1 rod and reel being used at a time per fisherman
22. Dead fish will be accepted but there will be no frozen, glassy-eyed fish accepted. All fish must be caught during tournament hours and all fish must be taken from weigh in by team members who weighed them in.
23. No fish may be accepted from or given to another team. Any altered fish will result in disqualification of the Team for the tournament and Side Pot. No money will be returned to a Team disqualified.
24. A minimum of one team participant MUST be in the weigh-in line by 4:00 p.m.
25. Scales will open at 3 pm and all teams must be in line by 4:00pm.
26. Weigh-in sites will be predetermined before every tournament.
27. Participants will be subject to a polygraph test if the need arises.
28. Anglers failing or refusing polygraph test will be disqualified from the tournament.
29. All Weigh Master's rulings are final, including rulings on disqualifications in a tournament.
30. Tournament dates will be subject to change and this will be discussed at captain’s meetings unless posted otherwise on our Facebook website.
31. Entry fee is $100 per team and can be paid in cash or check.
32. Captain meetings / Tournament Registration will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on the day prior to the Tournament at Daley’s at 2600 Nederland Ave in Nederland, Tx. Entrants can also sign up anytime at Daley’s in person or by contacting Eric Ronning or Justin Hawkins.
33. Tournament organizer reserves the right to deny entry into the tournament to any person for any reason.
34. Tournament rules, tournament dates, news and posting of winners will be maintained on Facebook site.
