Cheers Trout Action

Got another early start out of the Reel Inn Lodge this morning. Upon arriving at our first location we found the trout busting shrimp all around the boat. Cocodrie Cocahoes, Matrix Shad, and Shiney Hineys under a cork did the trick. No fast and furious action as it was a tough bite. Crazy how these fish are busting bait all around but are hesitant to bite. We had to work for every fish we caught. We fished a falling tide all day in canals, over oyster beds, and birds. Covered lots of water. My guys were patient and persistent and we pulled off a decent box considering the tough bite. We hooked three reds while trout fishing and all three broke off Thanks guys. Looking for a better bite over the weekend!!!

The gnats were out in full force back at the camp. Just a couple sprays of SwampSwatter and no problem. Thanks guys for such a great product that actually works.
