Default Toledo Bend 5/30-6-4

Sorry for such a late report. With the moon getting close to full, i only fished early once and didn't do well, so the rest of the time i slept in, fished late morning to 2 or so, then chilled at the camp then went back out until sunset. The few i caught in the 10'-14' range were caught mostly on big crankbaits (DD22 & DD14 size). The nicer fish were caught from 17'-25' on 3/4 oz football jigs and 10.5" worms. I mainly fished the roadbed at the 1215 launch and a community hole very close to that area. My cranking battery went bad so i had to stay close enough to troll back when finished fishing. 6.65 lbs was the biggest with 4.25 next and a number of the 2-4 lb range. Saw some of the Elite guys practicing also.
Here's the 6.65, released off my dock after the pic.

Ronnie

Thanks. It looks like my off schedule and the full moon will not be at the same time any more. I kinda liked sleeping in and fishing midday and evening!!
