Default Reds gone wild 5-15-10

INSANE redfish action today in Dularge as Travis Miller and his father-in-law 'BIG Earl' joined me today. Travis is on top of the trout game and wanted to step up his redfish catching, so we hooked up today for him to learn!!! LOL It did not take long as Travis had the first hook up within one minute of fishing. Five minutes later we had four on ice and a miss. The fish were in a feeding frenzy this morning as we caught twenty reds by 8:00am. We fished till about 12:00 playing catch and release. I quit counting at thirty, but I know we must have hooked over forty fish. All I can say is, it was one awesome day today!!! High water levels in the ponds made access easy and water clarity was perfect. All fish caught on spinner baits and gold spoons. Thanks guys for one heck of a awesome day. Looking forward to get on the trout real soon.

My dad takes blood thinners......He had a blood clot ~ 10 years ago. He has to keep the house fairly warm [almost 80 F] or he gets cold. I always wear light clothing......year round.....when we go to visit.

Default Rain

We had a small rain storm pass by right before taking the pictures. It did not take long for the rain gear to come off afterwards!!! Water in the ponds are crystal clear. You could watch the reds close to the boat hit the baits.......Awesome sight!!!
