They are not bad boats. They are owned by Mudbuddy in Arkansas but have dealers all over the place. I have ran numerous models and they all handle pretty well. Which one you looking at?

F4 with the "viper" hull for outboards...

1751 with a 40...

Selling my bay boat and getting back into something small to escape the weekend crowds...

F4 is a bad *** hull. Handles like a indy car cutting on a dime. That is the model I would get if I got an Excel but with a mudbuddy to get back in the shallows.

I have thought about a mud motor to get back where others cant, but I have a bad habit of getting stuck, where others cant get to so they can pull me out... The old "Double Edged Sword" thing...

A standard outboard will keep me out of trouble, or at least limit the trouble to where I can push pole my way out of it...
